To run APicViewer freeware you need:
1. Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 or 5
2. Microsoft Windows 95/98/ME/2000 or NT
To view movies and sound files, you need to install:
- Windows Media player 6.4.07 (or higher) Freeware download:http://www.microsoft.com/windows/mediaplayer
- RealPlayer 6.0 (or higher) Freeware download:http://www.real.com/welcome
To download rar files you need to install Winrar:
- Shareware download: http://www.rarsoft.com/
To download zip files you need to install Winzip:
- Shareware download: http://www.winzip.com
If you have the message:"The following file(s) failed to Self Register: C:\ProgramFiles\APicViewer\uud32acx.ocx" during the installation:
- you need the common windows dll files: MFC42. To get these files, go to ftp://ftp.simtel.net/pub/simtelnet/win95/dll The current file name is: mfc4261.zip. Download it and copy these files in your windows\system directory and re-install APicViewer.
